Leaving for the weekend....

We are getting ready to head out tomorrow for the weekend tent camping. I took Z and Molly in June and now we are heading north into the Catskill Mountains to camp for the weekend. The nights are getting into the LOW 40's! Can't wait...camping with a good friend of mine, her two boys and her husband. My hubby is staying home (in the comforts of his bed) with Sammie (who is still a little young to camp, IMO)...

I will check back in on Sunday night...hope everyone has a blessed weekend!

It has been a long time since we have been camping. I miss it! Hopefully we will get to go soon.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! We are definitely going to wait until winter before we even attempt to touch the nest. We don't want anyone to get stung!

Sounds like a fun weekend! We love to camp! I actually took my daughter on her first camping trip when she was 3 months old. My little boy didn't go camping until he was already a year and a half.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! If you make the dyed pasta, I hope you post pics so I can see! :)

Have a great weekend!

National Chocolate Chip Day

May 15, 2012 is National Chocolate Chip Day Today is National Chocolate Chip Day! Chocolate chips are an essential ingredient in dozens of delicious baked goods—chocolate chip cookies, chocolate chip pancakes, chocolate chip muffins, chocolate chip brownies, chocolate chip bagels, and many more. You can even find chili recipes that call for these sweet morsels! In the 1930s, Ruth Graves Wakefield created the original chocolate chip cookie at her Toll House Inn in Whitman, Massachusetts. Ruth intended to bake chocolate cookies for her guests, but she ran out of baker’s chocolate. She substituted with chopped up semi-sweet chocolate morsels and discovered that the pieces did not melt into the dough as she expected. Her cookies were an instant hit. Today, 25% of all the cookies baked in the United States are chocolate chip! To celebrate National Chocolate Chip Day, pick up a bag of chocolate chips at the supermarket and bake something yummy to share with friends and cowor
