Pottery Barn dreams

Took a trip to the mall over the weekend with the family....they have two of my FAVORITE stores...Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware....just walking by my mouth waters....I took the girls into PB while the hubby and son went to look for shoes....Oh the bells were ringing around me....so many nice things for Easter coming up...I could just live in the store and add a kitchen I would be happy.  The pillow covers, candles, hurricane lamps, pedestals, napkins...you name it....here are a few things that caught my eye....

I splurged on these babies......love them...

These would look great on my patio this summer....

These Easter Napkins are sooo pretty, more so in person.

What is sweeter than these plates.

Oh on my wish list for sure...

Love this too...might have to make a rendition of this one...

One can dream....right?

I just wish I could afford the stuff jamie!

I am a vanilla gal myself....
i love pottery barn. i know some friends of mine that go there for ideas and then try to reproduce a lot of their stuff by making it themselves much cheaper. the litt eggs could be stones painted the same color etc... but i love all that stuff you pictured.
Beautiful. I love both of those stores (and Anthropologie as well) and I guess I should be thankful that none of those stores are without an hour or so drive. It's a lot safer that way, right? Online shopping gives me more control. lol

I love the plates too. They remind me of spending time with my grandma. I don't know why, they just remind me of her. :)

National Chocolate Chip Day

May 15, 2012 is National Chocolate Chip Day Today is National Chocolate Chip Day! Chocolate chips are an essential ingredient in dozens of delicious baked goods—chocolate chip cookies, chocolate chip pancakes, chocolate chip muffins, chocolate chip brownies, chocolate chip bagels, and many more. You can even find chili recipes that call for these sweet morsels! In the 1930s, Ruth Graves Wakefield created the original chocolate chip cookie at her Toll House Inn in Whitman, Massachusetts. Ruth intended to bake chocolate cookies for her guests, but she ran out of baker’s chocolate. She substituted with chopped up semi-sweet chocolate morsels and discovered that the pieces did not melt into the dough as she expected. Her cookies were an instant hit. Today, 25% of all the cookies baked in the United States are chocolate chip! To celebrate National Chocolate Chip Day, pick up a bag of chocolate chips at the supermarket and bake something yummy to share with friends and cowor
