Little crafting for Spring

I seem to be in a crafting rutt lately so I needed to get my Spring crafting mojo going...I did something real simple that satisfied me for now...

I turned this Goodwill frame $ 1.99

Into this...

Using this paint

My hot glue gun, some sandpaper, piece of scrape burlap, some moss from the Dollar Tree and a few of the little robin eggs I bought at Pottery Barn a few weeks ago.

I think it's cute and will find a home for it!

I love it Melis! I've been painting so many frames white lately that a fresh new spring color looks great! I love the nest and the eggs too! Very Springy!
Good job!

I'd say your mojo is back because this is great! I just love it. I have a bunch of empty frames from goodwill for another project but I may have to take one and make something like this.

Hi there...your project caught my eye because Im working on a new nursery for my daughter who is turning 1 tomorrow. Im doing a birds/nest theme and my colors are cream/brown & robins egg blue.

This project is so sweet and would be perfect for their room. Im going to attempt and see what happens.

I love your blog and am now following, hope you will come visit me on my blogs too.
