Breakdowns not allowed?

Good Early morning to you all...i'ts only about 4:30 am here in NY and I am wide awake praying that the rain stops for our egg hunt today....As I scan the blogs that I read, I come across Tiffany's post from last night over at Stuff and Things...If you are a homeschooling mom, I strongly ENCOURAGE you to hop over read it, and leave a comment.  It's emotionally, raw and an honest post....WE ARE NOT ALONE!

Here is what I had hoped it would look like today....sigh....so far only liquid sunshine...

Thank you so much for linking to me! It was such a nice surprise when I woke up this morning.

It's rainy here too so the kids may be hunting Easter eggs under an umbrella. How pitiful is that! Hope the sun comes out for all of us.

National Chocolate Chip Day

May 15, 2012 is National Chocolate Chip Day Today is National Chocolate Chip Day! Chocolate chips are an essential ingredient in dozens of delicious baked goods—chocolate chip cookies, chocolate chip pancakes, chocolate chip muffins, chocolate chip brownies, chocolate chip bagels, and many more. You can even find chili recipes that call for these sweet morsels! In the 1930s, Ruth Graves Wakefield created the original chocolate chip cookie at her Toll House Inn in Whitman, Massachusetts. Ruth intended to bake chocolate cookies for her guests, but she ran out of baker’s chocolate. She substituted with chopped up semi-sweet chocolate morsels and discovered that the pieces did not melt into the dough as she expected. Her cookies were an instant hit. Today, 25% of all the cookies baked in the United States are chocolate chip! To celebrate National Chocolate Chip Day, pick up a bag of chocolate chips at the supermarket and bake something yummy to share with friends and cowor
