Larger than Life & Sharks

Ran a few errands today in preparation for our end of the season BBQ (for baseball) that we are hosting tomorrow...went into Target and saw some larger than life items that Zachary was cracking up at...

Don't think these would fit on his head...lol

Let's dig our teeth into this ear of corn...YUM

Imagine getting squirted with this water gun!

There were also flip flops, a badminton birdie and an ice pop...so cool!

For school today  - Fun Friday Science we talked more in depth about sharks
and also dolphins!

Time to try to draw the turtles and fish...LOL...very cute..
We love Scholastic (as you know!)

In the middle of the lesson, Zachary jumped and ran into his room....he emerged with
his Dangerous Creatures book (if you remember he referenced this book when
we learned about BIG CATS)

On Line kids jigsaw puzzles...found one that was sharks...

Daddy's last few days of vacation 8(  (he was SO busy he needs to
get back to his job to rest...LOL)....looking forward to
the bbq tomorrow...look for pictures to come either Sat. night or Sunday...

Blessings to your day!

National Chocolate Chip Day

May 15, 2012 is National Chocolate Chip Day Today is National Chocolate Chip Day! Chocolate chips are an essential ingredient in dozens of delicious baked goods—chocolate chip cookies, chocolate chip pancakes, chocolate chip muffins, chocolate chip brownies, chocolate chip bagels, and many more. You can even find chili recipes that call for these sweet morsels! In the 1930s, Ruth Graves Wakefield created the original chocolate chip cookie at her Toll House Inn in Whitman, Massachusetts. Ruth intended to bake chocolate cookies for her guests, but she ran out of baker’s chocolate. She substituted with chopped up semi-sweet chocolate morsels and discovered that the pieces did not melt into the dough as she expected. Her cookies were an instant hit. Today, 25% of all the cookies baked in the United States are chocolate chip! To celebrate National Chocolate Chip Day, pick up a bag of chocolate chips at the supermarket and bake something yummy to share with friends and cowor
