This week our church participated in a community wide outreach program called M.A.D. (Making a Difference)! It was the tweens and teens going out to various homes helping people out with various activities from painting to gardening and more! In order to get the "little" ones involved today we made natural dog biscuits for our local animal shelter (that is SO over crowded 8( ). The kids helped make the biscuits (See recipe below) and also help with some back to school bags that will be handed out to those less fortunate for their back to school supplies. I was SOOO proud of our children. Here are the highlights...

what a FABULOUS morning we had in fellowship and community

Dog Biscuit Recipe:
3 cups flour
2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 cup of veggie oil
1/4 cup of milk
Mix, heat oven to 400...cook approx. 15- 20 mins...let cool
