Book Giveaway!

This school year it was decided that the children would learn the Pledge of Allegiance. So I dug into my bag of tricks (aka my Scholastic bin) and found this cute book called The Pledge of Allegiance by Lloyd G. Douglas.

I happen to have two copies for 1 is up for grabs at this giveaway!

It's a cute book and explains it all!

So all you have to do is leave a comment letting me know if
you teach the pledge to your children...don't forget to leave an
email so I can get a hold of you!

This giveaway ends on September 3rd 5PM EST

I hadn't actually thought about it, to be honest. What a great idea, though! I only started homeschooling last year, but think I will teach it to my little ones this year! :-)

Hi Melissa,
We say the pledge and sing the Star Spangled Banner in our homeschool. The kids love to hold on to their little flags and march around the room
while we sing. Would love to win this book :) Email:
I don't actually teach the pledge to my children as we're in the UK. But it would be fascinating to have a copy of the book to read an go through with them as we are learning about American History. Hope I can enter over the Pond.
We absolutely plan on it! Hubby is a soldier, so we are pretty patriotic around here!
Yes! We are definitely planning on making saying the Pledge of Allegiance part of our morning homeschool routine! Thanks for the giveaway!

Sounds like a great book. My son learned the pledge in Tiger scouts and to be honest not sure my daughter knows it. Must work on it this year!!! You know how to reach me:)

I haven't taught it to them yet, but I think they're at the age that they could learn it now. :-) Thank you for the chance to win!

I always teach the Pledge. I feel it is so important to teach them about their country and to instill patriotism.
