Outdoor Playtime - Mud Pie Kitchens

Growing up my sister and I used to play "mud pies" (restaurant, house etc) all the time with dirt, water and a few kitchen items. That "art" has been lost on my children. Yes, they play in the sandbox but it's not the same. Making that large pot of mud meatballs or that cake topped with acorns was so much fun. I am enlisting the help of the hubby to make an outdoor kitchen for the kids so that mud pie creation can start happening around here!

I loved making mud pies when I was a kids. I always decorated mine with dogwood flowers. You made a delightful play space for your kids.

National Chocolate Chip Day

May 15, 2012 is National Chocolate Chip Day Today is National Chocolate Chip Day! Chocolate chips are an essential ingredient in dozens of delicious baked goods—chocolate chip cookies, chocolate chip pancakes, chocolate chip muffins, chocolate chip brownies, chocolate chip bagels, and many more.
