Growing up my sister and I used to play "mud pies" ( restaurant, house etc ) all the time with dirt, water and a few kitchen items.  That "art" has been lost on my children.  Yes, they play in the sandbox but it's not the same.  Making that large pot of mud meatballs or that cake topped with acorns was so much fun.  I am enlisting the help of the hubby to make an outdoor kitchen for the kids so that mud pie creation can start happening around here!  My Inspirations.....
