Worked hard all day on the outline for our studies for 2012/13 school year for my soon to be 3rd grader.... (wiping brow and taking a sip of my wine....) ...here is what I have so far.....not completed yet...but good start!  We are not starting back full time schooling until after vacation in October!   September & October :  The Path to the Presidency - Election Year!   Science: Earth Science:  Climates, weather, Galileo, Moon Life Science:  Extinction, natural resources, habitat destruction, Adapting to survive Physical Science: Reflections, elements and Atoms, Waves and Currents, Energy to Motion, Forms of Matter, The Heart Geography ( reintroducing Little Passports- never stuck with it last year) - going to Epcot in October - snagging some fun stuff! China Argentina England India Mexico Egypt Japan France Math: Measurements Fractions Multiplication (tens column) Music: Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Mozart Terms Reading...
