Monday Happenings...

What a quick and fun weekend....we held our annual Family Halloween Party and oh boy it was a HUGE success. Not only did we have over 100 people at our home but we collected a lot of food for the local food pantry!

This week is CRAZY Busy for me!
Today and Wed are the only days I am home.
Tomorrow is such an exciting day as I am meeting some blogging friends, in person, in NYC! Mary from Homegrown Learners and Theresa from Magnolia Lane.  A little retail therapy and then lunch at Tony DiNapoli's!  So excited to meet them IRL!

Then Thursday I leave for the Relevant Conference in Hershey PA.  That time will be 3 1/2 days away from my family in fellowship, prayer, learning and reflection. I will come away from the conference with a sense of renewal for sure!  You can find me on Twitter and FB during the conference!

Collage Friday and a Video

We have had a good week here in NY. The snow is melting and the signs of spring are everywhere!  I am ready for the light coat and to put away my Uggs for the season.   Zachary worked on the Women and Children of the Revolutionary War - and some fun Scholastic - Super Science!  He is always working on his IPAD playing Scrabble, Words with Friends, Monopoly, Stack the States and Stack the Countries. The girls and I talked about what is happening outside with the plants and animals. Waking up!  Sammie also enjoyed this Sofia the First Unit. We had so much fun making our Chocolate Volcano Cakes from our Raddish box this week.   Of course some Spring crafting was in order. We made these easy cupcake paper and button flowers pictures. Also using some kitchen sponges (for stamping)  from dollar store to make these beautiful spring cards.  Thursday Science - again going to our Raddish box and finding a cool experiment. ...

Little crafting for Spring

I seem to be in a crafting rutt lately so I needed to get my Spring crafting mojo going...I did something real simple that satisfied me for now... I turned this Goodwill frame $ 1.99 Into this... Using this paint My hot glue gun, some sandpaper, piece of scrape burlap, some moss from the Dollar Tree and a few of the little robin eggs I bought at Pottery Barn a few weeks ago.  I think it's cute and will find a home for it!
