Road Trip Today and 2011 Ending

As 2011 comes to an end, I can't wait to share with your my favorite posts of 2011, the most popular posts and some that got lost in the shuffle!  Today, however, the kids and I are driving 2 hours North to our Best Buddy's House!  Our camping cohorts (pic below, my family to your right, Tina and Family on the left)!  My friend, Tina is very pregnant with her 3rd boy (has 2 already) and I can't wait to share the day with her. The kids all get along so well and with Christmas just passing we are excited to see what Santa brought them!

Be watching over the weekend for my wrap up post and some goals for 2012, exciting!

Drive safe all if you are out on the roads these next few days!

Blessings

Collage Friday and a Video

We have had a good week here in NY. The snow is melting and the signs of spring are everywhere!  I am ready for the light coat and to put away my Uggs for the season.   Zachary worked on the Women and Children of the Revolutionary War - and some fun Scholastic - Super Science!  He is always working on his IPAD playing Scrabble, Words with Friends, Monopoly, Stack the States and Stack the Countries. The girls and I talked about what is happening outside with the plants and animals. Waking up!  Sammie also enjoyed this Sofia the First Unit. We had so much fun making our Chocolate Volcano Cakes from our Raddish box this week.   Of course some Spring crafting was in order. We made these easy cupcake paper and button flowers pictures. Also using some kitchen sponges (for stamping)  from dollar store to make these beautiful spring cards.  Thursday Science - again going to our Raddish box and finding a cool experiment. ...

Little crafting for Spring

I seem to be in a crafting rutt lately so I needed to get my Spring crafting mojo going...I did something real simple that satisfied me for now... I turned this Goodwill frame $ 1.99 Into this... Using this paint My hot glue gun, some sandpaper, piece of scrape burlap, some moss from the Dollar Tree and a few of the little robin eggs I bought at Pottery Barn a few weeks ago.  I think it's cute and will find a home for it!
