Collage Friday - it's a wrap!

Happy Friday - here we are again, another week flown by!  We have been able to get outside A LOT this week, thank you Lord.  It's been a fun, "earthy" kinda week!

More planting!  Birds are in abundance here at the feeders. (using my new lens to capture them!)

Our trees and flowers are all coming alive!

The girls received a new Kiwi Crate this week - Earth day was the topic of the crafts. This craft was stamping a recycled bag using clay and leaves. It was fun!  (they saved the other craft for Monday!)

If you did not get a chance to get out and celebrate the earth yet - there is still time!

Check out our recycled juice container...how we are helping the birds! Click HERE!

I am finally getting out for the day tomorrow with my gal pal, Kimberly and we are partaking in much needed retail therapy! lol

I pray your weekend is filled with love and laughter!

Linking up to Mary over at Homegrown Learners today!  Won't you join me?

What a great week. The weather was amazing here too, but it's a little cold today. I love homeschooling outside! :) I haven't heard of Kiwi Crates. I am about to check it out. Have fun with your 'gal' day. :)

Your pictures are gorgeous! It feels so good to be outside. I wish we lived closer so we could come to one of your parties :) I remember you talking about the Kiwi Crates at BEECH, I'm thinking about doing it for the summer. Have a great weekend!

"Earthy" weeks are the best! I have BIG plans for more such days starting next week (if it's not rainy). I hope you're enjoying your "therapy" time! LOL

Collage Friday and a Video

We have had a good week here in NY. The snow is melting and the signs of spring are everywhere!  I am ready for the light coat and to put away my Uggs for the season.   Zachary worked on the Women and Children of the Revolutionary War - and some fun Scholastic - Super Science!  He is always working on his IPAD playing Scrabble, Words with Friends, Monopoly, Stack the States and Stack the Countries. The girls and I talked about what is happening outside with the plants and animals. Waking up!  Sammie also enjoyed this Sofia the First Unit. We had so much fun making our Chocolate Volcano Cakes from our Raddish box this week.   Of course some Spring crafting was in order. We made these easy cupcake paper and button flowers pictures. Also using some kitchen sponges (for stamping)  from dollar store to make these beautiful spring cards.  Thursday Science - again going to our Raddish box and finding a cool experiment. ...

Little crafting for Spring

I seem to be in a crafting rutt lately so I needed to get my Spring crafting mojo going...I did something real simple that satisfied me for now... I turned this Goodwill frame $ 1.99 Into this... Using this paint My hot glue gun, some sandpaper, piece of scrape burlap, some moss from the Dollar Tree and a few of the little robin eggs I bought at Pottery Barn a few weeks ago.  I think it's cute and will find a home for it!
