My love affair and a giveaway!

Be still my beating heart! I have a love affair with all things paper. I love the feel of high quality paper and the way the my pen glides across the paper.  When I come across a product that makes me smile to just look at it, I have to share!

My friend Pamela Smerker of Pamela Smerker Designs has created this shop that will make paper lovers melt!

What will you find at her shop? Glad you asked!   Oh you will find an assortment of one of a kind stationary, printables and paper goods.

These are the adorable Preppy Monogram Fill In Calling Cards set of 48 that I am crushin on.   Have you ever been at a meet up, playdate or maybe at Classical Conversations and looking for a pen and paper to jot down your information?  These are the PERFECT way to pass along your email address or text number. I know these will be a hit at homeschooling conventions, meet ups, playdates and gatherings.  These are the "new" business card! (I was given these calling cards in exchange for my honest review)

Look at the bold colors monogrammed with my initial.

These beauties are the Veronica note cards. I believe they are named after her Grandmother. How sweet!   Do you still send snail mail?  I do and I love to think of the recipient smiling when they get a card from me 8)

I ADORE These 24 Things I love About you cards.  Imagine leaving these fun cards for your kids or significant other around the house with love notes on the back!

National Chocolate Chip Day

May 15, 2012 is National Chocolate Chip Day Today is National Chocolate Chip Day! Chocolate chips are an essential ingredient in dozens of delicious baked goodsā€”chocolate chip cookies, chocolate chip pancakes, chocolate chip muffins, chocolate chip brownies, chocolate chip bagels, and many more. You can even find chili recipes that call for these sweet morsels! In the 1930s, Ruth Graves Wakefield created the original chocolate chip cookie at her Toll House Inn in Whitman, Massachusetts. Ruth intended to bake chocolate cookies for her guests, but she ran out of bakerā€™s chocolate. She substituted with chopped up semi-sweet chocolate morsels and discovered that the pieces did not melt into the dough as she expected. Her cookies were an instant hit. Today, 25% of all the cookies baked in the United States are chocolate chip! To celebrate National Chocolate Chip Day, pick up a bag of chocolate chips at the supermarket and bake something yummy to share with friends and cowor...

Collage Friday and a Video

We have had a good week here in NY. The snow is melting and the signs of spring are everywhere!  I am ready for the light coat and to put away my Uggs for the season.   Zachary worked on the Women and Children of the Revolutionary War - and some fun Scholastic - Super Science!  He is always working on his IPAD playing Scrabble, Words with Friends, Monopoly, Stack the States and Stack the Countries. The girls and I talked about what is happening outside with the plants and animals. Waking up!  Sammie also enjoyed this Sofia the First Unit. We had so much fun making our Chocolate Volcano Cakes from our Raddish box this week.   Of course some Spring crafting was in order. We made these easy cupcake paper and button flowers pictures. Also using some kitchen sponges (for stamping)  from dollar store to make these beautiful spring cards.  Thursday Science - again going to our Raddish box and finding a cool experiment. ...
