He has been called home.....

My father has been called home to the streets of gold.

No more pain

No more worry

Jesus has prepared a special place for believers in heaven and my father is there with others who welcome him.

Captain of his own ship

My visit last weekend - thank you Lord for making him aware I was there. It was sad to say Good Bye - But I know what is ahead of him and I know he will be dancing in the streets of gold with his sister, brother and father.

At our wedding in 2003.

Psalm 23:4
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know how you feel. I lost my father 9 years ago. He had Alzehimer's, so he didn't even remember me by the time he passed away. I had so many mixed feelings when he died.

Yes he is with the Lord now. Bitter-sweet for sure. May the Lord be with you and your family so strong that you are just wrapped up in His love.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, yet also happy that he is now with our loving God. I know this time is difficult for those left behind, my dad died not quite 2 years ago. I am glad you were able to make it for the visit. Our prayers for peace are with your family.

Collage Friday and a Video

We have had a good week here in NY. The snow is melting and the signs of spring are everywhere!  I am ready for the light coat and to put away my Uggs for the season.   Zachary worked on the Women and Children of the Revolutionary War - and some fun Scholastic - Super Science!  He is always working on his IPAD playing Scrabble, Words with Friends, Monopoly, Stack the States and Stack the Countries. The girls and I talked about what is happening outside with the plants and animals. Waking up!  Sammie also enjoyed this Sofia the First Unit. We had so much fun making our Chocolate Volcano Cakes from our Raddish box this week.   Of course some Spring crafting was in order. We made these easy cupcake paper and button flowers pictures. Also using some kitchen sponges (for stamping)  from dollar store to make these beautiful spring cards.  Thursday Science - again going to our Raddish box and finding a cool experiment. ...

Little crafting for Spring

I seem to be in a crafting rutt lately so I needed to get my Spring crafting mojo going...I did something real simple that satisfied me for now... I turned this Goodwill frame $ 1.99 Into this... Using this paint My hot glue gun, some sandpaper, piece of scrape burlap, some moss from the Dollar Tree and a few of the little robin eggs I bought at Pottery Barn a few weeks ago.  I think it's cute and will find a home for it!
