    In my life this week... Eric and I finally got to go out this past weekend on a much needed date (day). We had a Applebees gift card burning a hole in our pocket since the Fall. I asked my older son, Jeremy, and his girlfriend to come and watch the kids while we went out.  We had a nice 3 hours away from the house and had a great lunch. So full I could not even eat dinner that night!   In our homeschool this week... We were winding down our studies on Polar Bears and Washington State.  I was gearing up for a busy February.  So many significant days in February = plenty to blog about! 8) Places we're going and people we're seeing... We will try to get to the library this coming week, we did last week. However, they are predicting a few storms this week coming up in NY, so we will see.  Today we went to Chuck E Cheese as a treat! My favorite thing this week was... My date day with my hubby and some more crafting done! What's working/not wor...

We had a beautiful weather weekend here in Southern NY!  We were able to get out on the 4-wheelers for a while and have some fun in the snow!    The hubby and I had a date day (long overdue) - went out to lunch and did some Dollar Store Shopping!    I was able to get a few crafts done in between life happening too....here are a few of my newest creations: Dollar tree frame (painted), background is a folder (Old Navy $ .47 for 3 of them), Roses are actually from Dollar Tree and they are soap!  I hot glue them on and put a sticker on the bottom! More Dollar Tree stuff I put together! Simple but makes a statement! I think I am almost done with all my Valentine decorating and will hopefully be able to put a nice post together showcasing it all!   Taking the day off school today so I can get February lesson plans all set...so much going on in February!

But first here are some pictures of where we homeschool to get this party started off right! We start with a devotional before starting each day at the dining room table . My "desk"..a rolling cart with all kinds of cubbies in the front and back...my "immediate" needs are here. (Snagged this baby on FREECYCLE!) Bulletin boards and kids toys. Other side of the schoolroom/playroom where I have a lot of "my stuff" and books stored. Top of our coat closet with supplies. {I sneak stuff anywhere I can find a space..lol} More by the bulletin boards. Looking into our dining room/school table. Master bedroom where Wii fun happens! Our bouncey house - gotta keep those kids active! Our outdoor movie screen, we host a lot of movies nights at our house...Fun for all! Kids ...
