My Molly is sick with a nasty cold, so School has been quick this week so far with Zachary. Amazing what you can get done in an hour when its just 1 child learning...lol
Regardless.....
Like so many bloggers out there, I have started making my VD crafts/decor for the house. I will not be showcasing them in our home until the Monday after Superbowl, since we usually have a SB party and the VD stuff will be in the way of all the Football decor...lol....
Most of what I am about to show you cost me $ 1.00 or less! With things I had around the house or had to go to the dollar tree and get 1 thing...
Anyway, here are some things that I have been working on that I think you will enjoy!
This wreath is made with the flower cut outs that I punched with my Stampin' Up flower punch. I used a Styrofoam wreath from Dollar Tree and hot glued them all on. Just like the one in my post HERE...except using the Pink. I then glued a cherub (foam) that I had in my bin of VD decor from last year. I love it. I will probably put it in the girls's room! COST $ 1.00
For this shaggy heart wreath, I bent a coat hanger, hubby trimmed a few pieces off of it for me also. I then ripped material (a scrap I had in my stash) into small strips and tied them on. Took all of 30 mins. The material is pale pink with brown branches and birds on it. Very cute and I will probably use it all year round in the girls' bedroom. COST Zero
Cute tag paper hearts. Cut strips of paper, fold in half, use a pencil to roll each end and glue...I made a ton of these for garland, scattering and putting into apothecary jars....CUTE and FREE! Kids loved to help on this one!
Frame - $ 1.00 Tree store. I kept the silver on the frame, goes good with some other black frames I will be using. I took felt, cut out flower shapes, then folded them and hot glued to a felt heart I had cut out. Once I "filled in the heart" Then I let dry, and cut around it and used my glue dots to stick it to the frame so I can use the frame again....Easy COST: $ 1.00
I am working on about 20 projects right now so I can't wait to show you more.
Peace to you!
