Another sneak peak....

Things are crazy here now (but I find time to blog...lol)...in final preparations for Molly's party tomorrow I am working hard and also with the Ultimate Blog Party today I am trying to keep up on stuff there...big sigh...Ok so here are a few other things I have been working on for the party prep....But 1st here is the April Fools Joke we woke up to today!

After playing outside in our light jackets earlier in the week...snow again...sigh

All the kids had funny hats at their placemats this morning...they loved them!

Sprinkles in the yogurt this morning...lol

Ok on to the fun stuff...I needed something to hang the girls tutu's on and i have been looking around the house for something...came up empty handed...went to Homegoods looking for something the other night and found this beauty (broken in 1.2 at the time) in the clearance section.

Sports themed....had hubby glue it back together...

Then used my FREE Sample of Valspar Paint in an eggshell color

And painted that baby...Oh did I mention the rack  was only $ 10.00 CHaChing!

Looking better already.....then with some ribbon and a flower...got this...
Not bad for $ 10 and the girls can use it for their dress up stuff when all is said and done.

Each girl will be getting a tutu, headband, and wand...

How cute are these popcorn cones I made up too....SO easy!

More to come...have a great day all!

National Chocolate Chip Day

May 15, 2012 is National Chocolate Chip Day Today is National Chocolate Chip Day! Chocolate chips are an essential ingredient in dozens of delicious baked goods—chocolate chip cookies, chocolate chip pancakes, chocolate chip muffins, chocolate chip brownies, chocolate chip bagels, and many more. You can even find chili recipes that call for these sweet morsels! In the 1930s, Ruth Graves Wakefield created the original chocolate chip cookie at her Toll House Inn in Whitman, Massachusetts. Ruth intended to bake chocolate cookies for her guests, but she ran out of baker’s chocolate. She substituted with chopped up semi-sweet chocolate morsels and discovered that the pieces did not melt into the dough as she expected. Her cookies were an instant hit. Today, 25% of all the cookies baked in the United States are chocolate chip! To celebrate National Chocolate Chip Day, pick up a bag of chocolate chips at the supermarket and bake something yummy to share with friends and cowor
