Ladybug Lessons

We are having a blast with our insect unit this month. We moved from Butterflies to Ladybugs this week.  So many things to learn!  Lots of fun!

Lifecycle learning...

We just sent away for (on line) our larva for the ladybug land!  Can't wait to hatch our own!

Just so happened that I had one of his reading comprehension stories cued up to Ladybugs!

Painting our rocks into Ladybugs!  This is one of our Sun Scholar art projects also!

Cute huh!

Collage Friday and a Video

We have had a good week here in NY. The snow is melting and the signs of spring are everywhere!  I am ready for the light coat and to put away my Uggs for the season.   Zachary worked on the Women and Children of the Revolutionary War - and some fun Scholastic - Super Science!  He is always working on his IPAD playing Scrabble, Words with Friends, Monopoly, Stack the States and Stack the Countries.
