Heaven's Grocery Store....

A friend of mine found this little sheet of paper while we were teaching at VBS last week...it was a small part of a tract..I loved it and wanted to share..

I was walking down life's highway
a long time ago.
One day I saw a sign that read
Heaven's Grocery Store.

As I got a little closer,
the door came open wide,
And when I came to myself,
I was standing inside.

I saw a host of angels;
they were standing everywhere.
And one angel said,"
My child, shop with care."

Everything a Christian needs
was in the grocery store.
And all you couldn't carry you
could come back the next day for more.

First I got some
patience, love was in the same row.
Further down was
understanding,
you need that everywhere you go.

I got a box or two of
wisdom,
a bag or two of
faith.
I just couldn't miss the
Holy Ghost
for He was all over the place.

I stopped to get some
strength & courage
to help me run the race.
But then my basket was getting full,
but I remembered I needed some
grace.

I didn't forget
salvation for salvation was free.
So, I tried to get enough of that
to save you and me.

Then I started to the counter to
pay my grocery bill.
For I thought I had everything to do
my Masters will.

As I went up the aisle, I saw
prayer and
just had to put that in.
For I knew when I stepped outside,
I would run right into sin.
Peace and joy were plentiful,
they were on the last shelf.
Song and praises were hanging near
so I just helped myself.

I asked,
How much do I owe?
He just smiled and said,
just take them everywhere you go.

Then I said, How much do I really owe?
He smiled and said,
My child, Jesus paid your bill
a long time ago.

National Chocolate Chip Day

May 15, 2012 is National Chocolate Chip Day Today is National Chocolate Chip Day! Chocolate chips are an essential ingredient in dozens of delicious baked goods—chocolate chip cookies, chocolate chip pancakes, chocolate chip muffins, chocolate chip brownies, chocolate chip bagels, and many more. You can even find chili recipes that call for these sweet morsels! In the 1930s, Ruth Graves Wakefield created the original chocolate chip cookie at her Toll House Inn in Whitman, Massachusetts. Ruth intended to bake chocolate cookies for her guests, but she ran out of baker’s chocolate. She substituted with chopped up semi-sweet chocolate morsels and discovered that the pieces did not melt into the dough as she expected. Her cookies were an instant hit. Today, 25% of all the cookies baked in the United States are chocolate chip! To celebrate National Chocolate Chip Day, pick up a bag of chocolate chips at the supermarket and bake something yummy to share with friends and cowor
