I am so happy to announce October is ROCKTOBER!
The Joys of Home Educating will ROCK in all ways!
I have a giveaway each week!
I am so thankful to God and all our followers for supporting me, spreading the word and praying you are all blessed in some way by my blog.

Let me 1st introduce you to my 400th Follower!
WENDY
Here is a litle bio from Wendy herself

I absolutely adore children's books and illustrations! I have a BFA from Ringling School of Art as well as a law degree from the University of Florida. In 2004 I decided to use my art degree and I wrote, illustrated and self-published Little Lilly's Polka Dot World , which is about a fictional character, Little Lilly , who lives in a world filled with polka dots.
The book was placed in Barnes & Noble as well as Books-A-Million. Fast forward a few years later to 2011. I have now developed a fun interactive website for children . It has animation, learning tools, games, activities and a narrated version of the book. The kids seem to love it!! It got a great review by Teachers First where it was recommended for use in the K-1 classrooms as well as at home.
The goal for me is to develop ideas that can be translated into values-based education and entertainment.   I also have a blog which is located at  www.littlelillypolkadotbedtimeblog.blogspot.com .
So up my alley, I can't wait to dig in and see what Wendy has to offer myself and followers!

I just became a new follower :-). And, oh have you asked the right question. I absolutely love the fall. In the summer, I feel miserable because of the heat. I don't like it too cold, as in the dead of winter. And, the spring brings about too many allergies for me. However, the fall is perfect. I can get chilled - just enough - to actually enjoy a sweatshirt, a trip to the pumpkin patch in the sun, and pumpkin spiced latte.
I am following via GFC and an e-mail subscriber. Is this open to UK too? I hope so! :)

My favourite thing about Autumn is the colours of the leaves and walking through scrunchy piles of leaves with the kids.

I've tried following you via fb, but can't find your page. My fall comment is- I love that here in Texas fall means no more triple degree weather. There isn't much of a change in leaves they go from green to dry brown in less than two weeks. :)

Collage Friday and a Video

We have had a good week here in NY. The snow is melting and the signs of spring are everywhere!  I am ready for the light coat and to put away my Uggs for the season.   Zachary worked on the Women and Children of the Revolutionary War - and some fun Scholastic - Super Science!  He is always working on his IPAD playing Scrabble, Words with Friends, Monopoly, Stack the States and Stack the Countries. The girls and I talked about what is happening outside with the plants and animals. Waking up!  Sammie also enjoyed this Sofia the First Unit. We had so much fun making our Chocolate Volcano Cakes from our Raddish box this week.   Of course some Spring crafting was in order. We made these easy cupcake paper and button flowers pictures. Also using some kitchen sponges (for stamping)  from dollar store to make these beautiful spring cards.  Thursday Science - again going to our Raddish box and finding a cool experiment. ...
