Collage Friday

Last weekend was our 6th and final camping trip for the season. We have so enjoyed our new travel trailer.   It was Halloween Weekend at our favorite Jellystone park! Met up with our BFF's to camp for the last time and we had a haunting good time!  We decorated our sites...kids got to trick or treat....Halloween dance and more...we did have some rain throughout the weekend but we did not let us dampen our spirits!

The leaves were soooo beautiful up North.  I was in my element dressing up and putting a scare into the children who came to our site!  Tina made Mummy Dogs for the kids also.  Loved our time camping!

Sunday morning was our "big breakfast" before we headed home and unfortunately it was raining so we brought our Halloween party inside.  These cute gable boxes are from Pamela at D and P Celebrations. Love her stuff!

It was a busy week of school.  Zachary was learning all about Columbus. Continuing with his Mary Shelley book, Frankenstein and of course, lots of Minecraft on the computer.  (I have given in to most of his writing assignments and let him type them on the Ipad or computer).

The girls are busy with lots of fun fall themed activities...leaves...apples..IPad....crafts and more fun stuff!

This weekend will be filled with soccer games, fall yard clean up (in preparation for our Halloween Family Party) and bringing our camper to its' winter storage place.

I do pray your week was productive and loving.  Won't you give some of that love over to Mary at Homegrown Learners and join me for Collage Friday!

Until next time  - Be Blessed

What fun camping! You really did it up for the kids! I bet they LOVED it! We used to go Halloween weekend camping locally, but haven't in many years now...and now the camper is gone. Not sure camping in a tent in mid-October in Maine is such a good idea! LOL

National Chocolate Chip Day

May 15, 2012 is National Chocolate Chip Day Today is National Chocolate Chip Day! Chocolate chips are an essential ingredient in dozens of delicious baked goods—chocolate chip cookies, chocolate chip pancakes, chocolate chip muffins, chocolate chip brownies, chocolate chip bagels, and many more. You can even find chili recipes that call for these sweet morsels! In the 1930s, Ruth Graves Wakefield created the original chocolate chip cookie at her Toll House Inn in Whitman, Massachusetts. Ruth intended to bake chocolate cookies for her guests, but she ran out of baker’s chocolate. She substituted with chopped up semi-sweet chocolate morsels and discovered that the pieces did not melt into the dough as she expected. Her cookies were an instant hit. Today, 25% of all the cookies baked in the United States are chocolate chip! To celebrate National Chocolate Chip Day, pick up a bag of chocolate chips at the supermarket and bake something yummy to share with friends and cowor
