It's Travel Tip Tuesday - where I bring you fun ways to spend the day in "my" city - NYC! Today's travel tip brings us to the borough of The Bronx. More specifically - The Bronx Zoo!
This time of year the animals are so active, with the heat behind them and the cool weather setting in. An annual tradition at The Bronx Zoo is Boo at the Zoo. These fall fun filled weekends include: Hay mazes, musical theater, magic shows, costume parades and more. Adding a trip to Boo at the Zoo to your itinerary is worth your time.
You will find the Zoo transformed into something out of a Halloween movie. The staff has decorated it to the nines!
The dates for the Boo at the Zoo weekends are from October 5 - November 3rd. If you are planning at trip to the city that never sleeps - I suggest you bring the kiddies to The Bronx Zoo for some BOO at the Zoo!
TRAVEL TIP: If you are visiting the city that never sleeps and money is tight - try visiting The Bronx Zoo on a Wednesday. Wednesdays are Donation Day - you pay what you can afford for the entry fee.
