Being a home educating mother to three wild children blessings, I find myself needing a little "mom time out" on occasion.  Anyone pickin' up with I am layin' down?

I know about 2 pm I am looking for just a little something sweet to kick up my afternoon.  I have found the PERFECT little gem for you today!

The Macaron

Have you had them?  They are an art in of itself.

Being a party gal myself, I have heard of the Sucre' Shop out of New Orleans before tasting their perfect confections. Now you can too!

These little pieces of goodness are a married combination of little outside crunch with a smooth middle.  I could not believe all the flavors that were offered in their Signature Macaron Collection.   With flavors like chocolate, hazelnut, almond, pistachio, bananas foster, strawberry, pecan and salted caramel a girl can't go wrong!

Just look at all those yummy ingredients in this salted caramel macaron!

 Can't you just taste it?

After checking out their website, I was thrilled to see the variety of gifts available (think holidays my friends!).  I was especially drawn to the Kings Cakes!  PERFECT for our school Mardi Gras celebration!

Check out this recipe!  You can try to make these lovely's right in your own home!

If you could use a little pick me up or maybe just a late night sweet then you are in luck!  The Sucre' Shop New Orleans is allowing me to offer 1 Complete Signature Macaron Collection to one my followers!  It's so easy to enter!

You can enter using the Rafflecopter below!

I was given a signature collection to sample in exchange for my honest opinion and review.

You can even find chili recipes that call for these sweet morsels! In the 1930s, Ruth Graves Wakefield created the original chocolate chip cookie at her Toll House Inn in Whitman, Massachusetts. Ruth intended to bake chocolate cookies for her guests, but she ran out of baker’s chocolate. She substituted with chopped up semi-sweet chocolate morsels and discovered that the pieces did not melt into the dough as she expected. Her cookies were an instant hit. Today, 25% of all the cookies baked in the United States are chocolate chip! To celebrate National Chocolate Chip Day, pick up a bag of chocolate chips at the supermarket and bake something yummy to share with friends and cowor...
