Back to School: Celebration

This time of year can be exciting and sad all at the same time. So many of our friends are "going back to school" (public school) and we will miss them. Sure we will see them from time to time, but once the Fall hits, it's usually on the soccer field and at an occasional birthday party.  

Even though we homeschool, we still like to celebrate the "new year" with a changing of the grade levels.  Here is a fun party I set up for the kids to celebration such an occasion. 




I love to give them something fun to start off the new year (and it does not always have to be candy).  Using these fun gumball tubes and a few new pencils, they had a fun gift to start off the new year.
