    Not sure if you have ever heard of the No Ordinary Blog Hop - but if you have not before, consider yourself  informed now!    It's a wonderful continuous HOP that includes bloggers from around the world! HI everyone - last time I checked in was last Wednesday and both girls were sick. Thankfully that has passed, however, I am not sick 8(   Hosting a playdate today for 12 and then prep work for Thanksgiving Feast (another 12)....  God give me strength!   Praying your Thanksgiving is filled with fun, food and Laughter! Be Blesssed!

It's mid-week and both girls are sick.  Molly needed antibiotics and both girls have croup 8(   It makes for long days, longer nights and school is piece mealed together ( yes they still want to "do" school)   Next week is Thanksgiving and also I am hosting a Princess Party (thanks to Disney Jr and Houseparty.com) on Wednesday.  I am on the fence but think we are taking next week off.  Oh the Joys of Home Educating - love the benefit of being flexible.   What's your schedule for next week looking like?    Looking to get the kids together to make a Thankful List since we did not get a chance to make our Thankful Tree this year (thanks Sandy).  Well off to make dinner... be Blessed!

The Holidays are such a busy time for us...with church activities, school, visiting, parties etc.  Every once and a while we "take a day off" and just play games, watch fun movies and eat popcorn  (among other snacks) .   However, I find that the children are ASKING for more on those days. They thrive on the routine. They WANT to learn!  That excites me and exhausts me all at the same time...  There are days when I want a break also!  I call those our Crazy Lazy Dayz,  Those days I pull out the lapbooks that I have made...get out our Scrabble game....read more to them....they are fun days and usually require little planning on my part but learning is still going on...    I hope to have more of them coming up in the next few months! What we read last week.... Our Science... Our newest friend that comes to the window daily. Looking forward to what next week brings! Be Blessed!
