Mother's Homeschool Journal Week 10

The Homeschool Chick

In my life this week: I missed last week due to the death of my FIL, so I think we are on week 10?   It's been a hectic week trying to get back into the swing of things and supporting the hubby with his grief.   Trying to "put myself back onthe list" is something that is the back of my mind. Also getting the finishing touches on Molly's 4th Birthday party (in a week!) Weight Watchers, back on track!  Last week I did not do too well with all that was happening.

In our homeschool this week: We have been continuing our Seuss studies. Finishing up this unit today with our Dr Seuss Party!

Places we're going and people we're seeing: We went nowhere this week!  Primarily due to our less than Spring like weather!

My favorite thing this week:  we had friends over for a Welcome Spring BBQ last weekend.....and now we have snow

What's working/not working for us: things are going well in school.

Homeschool Questions/Thoughts I Have:  Zachary asked me if he can go to a collage where he lives at home still and goes each day to told him that he might change his tune later on!

Photo to share.....Molly at the Spring BBQ last weekend!

Blessings to your family. Especially after the loss of FIL. I am new to THMJ. Love to hear about all the activities mothers get involved with in homeschooling. We just read a Dr. Seuss book at our co-op too.
